As the Founder and a partner of APTVEST, Kevin’s role includes overseeing future corporate trajectory and all forward-facing activities including investment initiatives along with asset oversight and asset reposition mandates.  

Kevin has been in the multifamily real estate industry for more than 10 years.  Previously having worked at two national real estate investment sales firms (Marcus & Millichap and Apartment Realty Advisors now Newmark), Kevin gained valuable experience in acquisitions, dispositions, debt and equity, private and corporate partnerships, corporate structures, and portfolio sales.  He has been closely involved in over $3 billion of multifamily investment transactions. 

Kevin has a Master of Jurisprudence in Wealth Management from Texas A&M School of Law. Kevin is married with three children.

As a Partner at APTVEST, Brett’s role includes overseeing investment initiatives and asset performance along with future corporate growth. Brett began his career in real estate over fifteen years ago. Through repositioning assets and effective property management, he’s facilitated the creation of Allied Property Management, a successful multifamily property management company. As the president and founder of Allied Property Management, Brett has increased the net operating income for his clients by identifying additional profit centers and maximizing the full potential of the properties Allied manages.

Brett’s unique experience in managing dozens of properties over the past eleven years has enabled him to see value and spot potential pitfalls where others may not. Brett is married with three children.

As a Partner at APTVEST, Eric’s role includes asset oversight, overseeing day to day construction management, corporate partnership guidance and future company growth. Eric is a partner and co-founder of the law firm Libby Sparks Willis Starnes PLLC, practicing in real estate and finance with an emphasis in multifamily real estate acquisition and disposition.

Over the past decade, Eric has facilitated the acquisition, disposition and/or refinancing of more than 10,000 multifamily apartment units. Additionally, while practicing law in Las Vegas during the Great Recession, Eric was involved in more than 100 loan workouts and/or foreclosures, where he gained valuable insight on how to avoid problems that often plague deals.

Having worked at some of the largest law firms in the world for the vast majority of his career, Eric has acted as counsel in connection with the acquisition/disposition or financing of more than $3 billion worth of assets.

Eric has a J.D. from Pepperdine School of Law.  Eric is married with two children.

Josh joined BKE Capital, now APTVEST in 2018. His role includes evaluating new investment opportunities, tracking market trends, and assisting in asset performance. Josh has been closely involved in the evaluation and analysis of over $4.5 billion of multifamily investments.

Josh began his career in commercial real estate at a large national retailer as an analyst in 2012. With a passion for analysis, he quickly rose to Development Manager, performing site selections based on revenue analysis across the country. During his tenure there, he oversaw Real Estate Transactions for 225 stores, finding an average of 14 new sites or relocations every year.

In addition to multifamily investments, he also enjoys actively studying market trends and managing various types of investments.

Josh has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting and Financial Management from Abilene Christian University. Josh is married with one child.

Gordon joined APTVEST in 2022 as an Asset Manager. His role includes driving asset performance within the portfolio while managing the strategy, execution, and disposition of each asset.

Prior to joining APTVEST, Gordon spent nearly 10 years inside a Fortune 500 corporate organization, overseeing a portfolio of $160M+ in revenue, 35+ national locations and 600+ employees. During that time, he was responsible for driving new growth, financial performance, and operational efficiencies, generating $72M+ in additional annual revenue.

Gordon received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University. Gordon is married with two children.

Sarah joined APTVEST in 2022 as Operations Manager. Her role includes everything from transaction management to future corporate initiatives.

Sarah began her career at one of the largest commercial real estate investment firms in North America. As an Operations Manager for 10+ years, she gained vast experience in process management and improvement, staff onboarding, training and development, project management, brokerage/transaction management and event planning.

She served as a lead mentor, project manager and consultant on various operations projects that assisted with efficiency and productivity for operations staff and firm operations. Sarah received the Rising Star Award which is awarded to operations managers on a path of growth.

Sarah gained additional experience in loan processing and closing coordination with Four Pillars Capital Markets where she helped provide transaction support while building relationships with investors and team members.

Sarah received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications from Texas State University. Sarah is married with two children.
